How Links Work

The effect of which is that the said page or website gets to rank high for more users to see and click.

Follow links are the default forms of link-building traffic. If a follow link gets you points, a nofollow link gets you nothing. This being said, it doesn’t help a page rank better in the SERPs. Basically, this tells a search engine to not count the said link.
